Growing Media

The purpose of a media is to hold moisture and nutrients for the plant and to anchor the roots.  Media itself is inert and contains no plant nutrients and is made of various inert materials so it will not decompose, harbour any soil borne pests or diseases.   

We only stock high quality growing media which has been selected because it's superior capacity for absorbing nutrient solutions, while still retaining a good balance of oxygen and moisture.
