The Greenfields Starter Grow kits are ideal for all indoor gardeners, the combination of the Gro-Flo 500 supplied with 250 watts of high quality Power-Plant Lighting ensures a great yield, 4 seasons a year.
The Gro-Flo 500 System
The system will grow several small plants or one to two larger ones, the plants are grown within a chamber filled with clay pebbles. The growing chamber is suspended above a reservoir filled with nutrient-enriched water.
An air pump drives the nutrient solution up through the "pumping column" where the nutrient then passed through drip feeder and flows down through clay pebbles. This infuses the nutrient with oxygen and constantly bathes the roots, stimulating the plant to grow.

The Power Plant 250 watt Grow Light System
The 250 Complete Horticultural Lighting System is supplied complete with a 250 watt Power Plant Hobby Ballast, an Power Plant Super HPS 250 watt High Pressure Sodium lamp and a Mini-Wing reflector.
All of the Power Plant Ballast range feature Venture Lighting International components.
Each unit has Internal protection via a timed ignitor and a thermal cut-out choke, this added safety feature stops the unit trying to ignite the lamp after several minutes which ensures years of use and saves electricity.
Unique IEC click and lock socket prevents accidental disconnection.
Vented for cool running. Near silent operation.
Each unit is individually tested for both CE and safety regulations.
Supplied with 12 months limited warranty on internal choke and ignitor components.

A low cost solution to the problem of timer failure.
The LightSafe 13 Amp Contactor/ Timer Relays unit plug into your existing timer to protect against the inductive loads generated by the electrical discharge of Horticultural Lighting.
The LightSafe 13 Amp Contactor Relay unit range can switch a maximum of 13 Amp of discharge lighting: in practice this is the equivalent to - 1 x 1000, 3 x 600watts, or 4 x 400watts. However this can vary according to the make and condition of the lighting system used.
